Project Overview

For the Dewberry Drive Project, Southern Love built the backyard as a series of outdoor rooms instead of one large patio. A custom cedar pergola with a polycarbonate roof, string lighting, and a ceiling fan anchors the main lounge. A second pergola shelters the dining area and a stone fireplace with flanking wood-storage niches. A stock-tank plunge pool sits flush in a raised deck and a herringbone concrete paver patio connects every zone.

Mature shade trees cover each seating area, and a separate fire pit lounge adds a second gathering spot after dark. Native and adapted planting beds with limestone boulders soften the hardscape throughout. It's a backyard built for cooling off in summer and gathering by the fire when the weather turns.
